OHM is the design, control and development of operational structures and processes in order to make work, organization and behavior at the workplace health-promoting.[1] They should benefit employees of Clausthal University of Technology as a whole.
Clausthal University of Technology sees OHM as a cross-sectional task across all areas and hierarchies of the university, which takes into account both the working environment of employees and the social environment and skills development of each individual through a health-promoting university culture.
The BGM is based on three pillars: Occupational health and safety and integration management (BEM), which have long been established at Clausthal University of Technology, are required by law. Workplace health promotion (WHP) is voluntary. With a holistic OHM at Clausthal University of Technology, the focus is to be placed more strongly on BGF and a link is to be established with the pillars of occupational health and safety and BEM.
